Why this way

Why ordering a website usually stalls

Four reasons a single page takes months and gets paid for upfront.

  • Three months for one page

Between the brief and the launch an agency puts a queue, an account manager, rounds of approvals and a designer who draws mockups separately from whoever codes them. On a one-pager that machinery eats more time than the work itself. I do the structure, the copy and the build myself, so a week stays a week.

  • Paying upfront for something that does not exist yet

The usual deal is 50% in advance and Figma mockups that tell you very little about how the thing will behave on a phone. Here the order is reversed. You open the finished page in your browser first, and then decide whether to pay.

  • The site builder produced a page that loads in six seconds

A template drags in third-party scripts, sliders and fonts, and on mobile data that turns into seconds of waiting. People leave before they see the offer. I build the page as static output: nothing extra loads, and Core Web Vitals stay in the green.

  • Nothing to send

There is an Instagram account and a business card, but nothing to send to the person asking about price and timing. A landing page closes exactly that gap: one address that says what you do, what it costs and how to reach you.

What you get

Six concrete things, not “design to be agreed”

Everything on this list is in the price and does not turn into a separate invoice later.

A page arranged around the enquiry

The order of the sections is deliberate: the offer above the fold, then who it suits, proof, price or a range, common objections, the form. People scan a page rather than read it, so each section answers one question and hands over to the next.

Copy written by me

After a half-hour conversation I write the text: headlines, service descriptions, answers to questions. What I need from you are facts - what you do, who for, how you differ, what it costs. If you already have copy, I use it as the base and rewrite it around the structure of the page.

Mobile and speed

More than half of the visits will come from a phone, so I check the page on a real device, not only in browser emulation. Images in WebP, fonts served locally, no scripts you do not need. The target is green Core Web Vitals on mobile, not a flattering number on desktop.

A form that actually arrives

The enquiry goes to your inbox and to Telegram, and a copy stays on the server, so it cannot be lost even if the email lands in spam. There is bot protection and a confirmation for the sender, so they can see it went through.

SEO basics and analytics

Meta tags and a preview image for messengers, sitemap, robots, Schema.org markup, GA4 with a goal on the form, Search Console, and the cookie consent banner that analytics in the EU cannot legally run without. This is groundwork, not search marketing: the page gets indexed and you can see where people came from.

The domain and the code stay yours

The domain is registered on your account, so is the hosting, and the code is handed over. There is no subscription for the site merely existing, and no situation where moving to another developer costs you the page.

How the week runs

Five working days, two hours of your time

Start on Monday, live on Friday. The days count from the moment the materials and the brief answers are in.

  1. Day 0

    Call and brief

Half an hour on a call or a WhatsApp thread: what you sell, to whom, how you differ, what the page is meant to do. Then an eight-question brief and a list of materials - logo, photos, price list, if they exist. The price and the date are fixed here.

  2. Day 1

    Structure and offer

I send the plan of the page as text: which sections, in which order, what the headlines say. Changes are cheap at this stage, so we argue here rather than over a finished design.

  3. Day 2-3

    Build

The page is built straight in code, with no intermediate mockups. On day three you get a link to a test address and open it on your own phone. That is the point where you decide whether we carry on.

  4. Day 4

    Revisions in one pass

You send a list of changes and I work through all of it. Two rounds of revisions are included, which is enough when the notes arrive as one list rather than one at a time all day.

  5. Day 5

    Domain, analytics, launch

I connect the domain and SSL, set up analytics and the consent banner, and submit the page to Google and Bing. I show you where to read enquiries and stats. The invoice goes out the same day.

When this is not for you

Four situations where I talk people out of a landing page, and I say it before the contract.

  • You need a shop with a cart, payments and a product feed: different work, different timeline
  • You need 10-50 pages, a blog and a service catalogue: a one-pager only gets in the way
  • There is nothing to show yet: no photos, no prices, not one finished job
  • You expect the page to bring people by itself: a landing page turns visits into enquiries, but the visits come from ads, search and your own conversations

Common questions

  • On day three you get a link to the finished page and open it on your own phone. If what you see is not right, we part ways: the page stays with me and you pay nothing. The invoice only goes out after you say yes, and before the page moves to your live domain.

  • Because there is nobody in the chain but the two of us: no queue, no account manager, no handover from a designer to a developer. The sections, forms, analytics and multilingual routing are already written and proven on other projects, so I assemble the page from them and write the copy for you. The five working days count from the moment the materials and brief answers arrive.

  • I write it. What I need from you are facts: what you do, who for, how you differ from the firm next door, what it costs, what clients say. Half an hour of conversation is usually enough. If you already have copy, I use it as the base and rewrite it around the structure of the page.

  • Neither. The page is built on Next.js and served as static files: no admin panel to keep updating, no plugins that break, no monthly fee to a site builder. Edits after launch are done by me, by the hour. If changing the text yourself matters to you, I add a CMS - that is one extra day.

  • Two rounds before launch: you send the list and I work through all of it. After that, edits are €35 per hour with a one-hour minimum, and I tell you the estimate before starting. There is no compulsory retainer.

  • The domain and hosting are on your account and the code is handed over. You can leave at any point without losing anything: the page is not tied to my panel or my subscription.

  • I work through the Twój StartUp foundation, so you get a contract and a Polish VAT invoice you can put through your books. Payment by transfer to a Polish account, in złoty or in euro. For a client in another EU country the invoice follows the intra-EU rules, and I confirm the exact treatment before the contract.

  • No, and nobody honest will promise that. A landing page turns visits into enquiries; the visits themselves come from ads, search, social media and your own conversations. If you are planning a campaign, say so at the brief: the structure and the copy are then written around that specific query, and the price of the page does not change.
